The photos shown here were taken between 0730 and 1100 on Sunday 12th March (note the exif data embedded in the photos shows an hour ahead). The snow was still falling for most of the morning (as can be seen in the pictures), and turned to rain by about 1230. I was fortunate enough to capture snowplough 702 travelling north near the Tower at 0915, on its second trip out of the day, and also later on at Rossall, returning to the depot. As can be seen by the lack of pedestrians in the photos, most people had the good sense to stay indoors during the snow, thus affording the opportunity for some unusually empty street scenes!
